Fun with Chemistry

Since this month is Black History, your extra credit assignment will be to research an African American scientist and type a two page, double space paper illustrating his/her life and achievements. A don’t want anyone to research George Washington Carver or Benjamin Banneker. This assignment will be 50 bonus points and is due by February 27th.

We will be starting our classroom presentation this coming Monday.

Each Group is responsible for the following:
1) Notes either on the overhead, powerpoint, or blackboard
2) Worksheet
3) Demonstration of the Main Ideas

This is a 100 point grade.

Week of January 26th:
Complete Chapter 9
Chapter 9 Test by the end of the week

Week of February 2nd:
Group Presentation for Chapter 10
Present at the end of the week
