Mission Statement
The mission of Collierville High School is to challenge and cultivate student’s intellect, integrity, and accountability through diverse, meaningful experiences that will produce responsible, contributing members of society
Rules
1) Be respectful to your classmates, to your teacher, and to yourself.
2) Be quiet.
3) Remain seated at all times.
4) Follow directions the first time they are given.
5) Be on time.
6) Be prepared for class.
7) Place all trash in only the trash can.
Punishments
1) First offense will result in a warning.
2) Second offense will result in communication with parent.
3) Third offense will result in additional assignments.
4) Fourth offense will result in a disciplinary referral.
Note: The teacher has absolute control and can bypass any of these steps if necessary.
Grading
Grading will be evaluated on a percentage system shown below:
Notebook 10%
Homework 10%
Labs 10%
Classwork 20%
Quizzes 20%
Test 30%
100%
Homework: Homework will be assigned almost every night and will be graded randomly.
Labs: The lab will be due the day after the lab was completed.
Notebook: The notebook should be a one inch three ring binder with contain five sections properly labeled as such: 1) Bellwork, 2) Homework, 3) Notes/Classwork, 4) Portfolio Assignments, and 5) Graded papers. All Students are responsible for All Work. The syllabus will always be the first thing in your notebook.

Lab Fee and Lab Safety
Each student will be required to pay a $5 Lab fee and fill out a Lab Safety Contract in order to participate in the lab activities.
Extra Credit
Extra credit will be given for the completion of the Standardized Prep Test located at the end of Chapter. The amount will be 10 points per test to be applied to the equivalent test as the Standardized Prep Test. Each Standardized Prep Test can only be completed once for credit.
